Mullin Tabbed SCAC Setter of the Week

SUWANEE, Ga.-- For the first time in her career, LeTourneau volleyball freshman Emily Mullin was named SCAC Setter of the Week for the period ending Nov. 9, the conference announced on Monday.

A freshman from Lancaster, Pa., Mullin averaged 7.17 assists, 1.50 kills, and 1.67 digs per set in a 2-0 weekend for LeTourneau. In a sweep of Centenary, Mullin had 22 assists, four kills, four digs, and two blocks in a key win that eventually clinched a spot in the SCAC Tournament. She then had 21 assists, five kills, six digs, and two blocks in a sweep of Rhodes.

This year, Mullin is averaging 4.50 assists per set, 2.24 digs per set, and sits fifth in the conference with 45 service aces.

With the victory over Rhodes, LeTourneau broke the program's NCAA-era record for wins in a season with 19. It is the second-most victories all-time (20, 1987).

The No.6 seeded YellowJackets take on No.3 seeded Schreiner Mountaineers on Friday, Nov. 14, at 1:00 p.m., in Kerrville, Texas.
