LeTourneau Athletics Hall of Fame
James Wright '97 was one of the finest defensive players in the history of LeTourneau men's soccer.
A three-time All-American, Wright earned NCCAA All-America first team honors in both the 1995 and 1996 seasons. In 1996, he also collected NAIA All-America honors.
Wright was a four-time team captain and is in the top-five all-time in career matches played with 86. In his four years, LeTourneau won 48 matches -- including a still-program record 16 in 1996 -- and placed third at the NCCAA Tournament in 1996.
Wright continues to serve LeTourneau as an assistant coach with the men's soccer program.
