A two-year star on the hardwood, Shannon Greenhouse Bowie '98 was part of two NCCAA national championship teams at LeTourneau.
A key member of both the 1997 and 1998 women's basketball teams that captured NCCAA national titles, Greenhouse played in 66 games and had a career scoring average of 14.0 points with 3.5 assists per game and 3.6 rebounds. She ranks first all-time in program history in career steals per game at 3.3 as she tallied 217 in just two seasons.Â
She earned NCCAA All-America second team in 1998 after collecting 12.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game to help LeTourneau win a second straight NCCAA title. In 1996-97, she set a still-program record with 114 steals. Greenhouse was a two-time All-Big State Conference honoree.
During her career, LeTourneau went 54-14 with a perfect 22-0 record in Big State play to record back-to-back conference regular season and tournament titles. To go along with NCCAA national championships, she also led LeTourneau to two straight appearances at the NAIA Tournament.
