Richard Verrett '82 was a two-time NCCAA All-American and ranked in the top-10 all-time in multiple categories during his four-year career as a YellowJacket basketball student-athlete.

Verrett earned NCCAA All-America second team honors in both 1980-81 and 1981-82.

His 1,611 career points ranked fourth all-time when he finished and is still in the top-10 overall in program history. Verrett dished out a then-program career record 405 assists, which is still in the top-five all-time.
