One of the top players in LeTourneau men's basketball history, Terry Zeitlow '87 set himself apart during his four years.

Zeitlow was a two-time NCCAA All-American and set multiple program records. He held the record for career points with 2,393 and still holds the mark for career made field goals (970). His 416 career made free throws ranked second all-time when he finished his career and he set a then-program record for career free throw percentage at 85.5.

Zeitlow was an NCCAA All-America second team selection in 1985-86 after setting a then-program record with 817 points scored and 324 made field goals. The following year in 1986-87, Zeitlow collected NCCAA All-America honorable mention. He also holds the program's top two free throw percentage marks for a season (89.2 in 1986-87 and 88.1 in 1984-85).

After graduating, he served a three-year stint as the head coach of the YellowJackets from 1987-90. 

Zeitlow's career scoring record stood until 2020 when Nate West tied the mark and both finished with 2,393 points.

Zeitlow has served LeTourneau as its VP for Development and Alumni Relations since 2017 and has aided the Hall of Fame committee since returning to Longview.
