Nicole Leman '13 was a three-year standout for LeTourneau women's cross country.

Leman was the first YellowJacket to qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships as she achieved the feat in 2012. She was the 2012 ASC individual champion, taking the title with a then-program record (and ASC Championships record) in the 6k at 22:39.9 in Clinton, Miss. She was also named the ASC Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year at the same meet.

At the NCAA Regional meet in 2012, Leman earned a berth into the national championships following a 10th-place finish to also collect All-Region honors. That finish is still the highest of any runner in program history at the region meet.

Leman was a two-time All-ASC honoree (2010 and 2012) to go along with four career ASC Runner of the Week awards -- tied for the most by any runner in program history.

She also collected ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2012 and ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor in 2012-13. Leman was a three-time ASC Academic All-Conference honoree. She was the LeTourneau Female Athlete of the Year and Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2012-13.
