LeTourneau Athletics Hall of Fame
Roger Erickstad was a longtime distinguished member of the LeTourneau athletics family.
Erickstad served as the department's Faculty Athletics Representative from 1977-2005, was on the Faculty Athletics Committee from 1969-2005, and served as part of the LeTourneau Athletics Hall of Fame selection committee from 1995-2004. He arrived in Longview in 1969 as a mathematics professor, a role he served faithfully in until 2011.
He and his son, Brad, are the only father-son duo in the LeTourneau Athletics Hall of Fame. Brad was inducted in the first class in 1997.
